If you have people arriving after dark, and the cars will be facing towards where we will be set up, please ask your guests to turn off their headlights before they pull in to help preserve everyone's night vision.

If your venue is on Federal, State or County lands (parks, picnic areas, etc.) that close at dusk, you must obtain permission to be there after dark and provide us with a copy of that permission prior to our arrival. If your event is on a lawn, please make sure that if there are lawn sprinklers, they are covered or turned off.

When viewing through our telescopes, guests may need to use step ladders that we provide. We strive to keep your adventure exciting and safe, so expect our help while climbing the ladders. Our ladders have wide steps for balance, but for very young children we ask that parents help them with a boost to the eyepiece if necessary.

The equipment is relatively sturdy so you and your guests should feel comfortable being hands-on. One of the hardest things for guests to get used to, is not "grabbing" on to the telescope to move it so you can see better as this will move it out of alignment and delay viewing for the next person while the telescope is re-aligned. If you are having trouble seeing, let us know so we can help.

Please remember that it will take us 30 - 45 minutes to break down and pack up at the end of your event.
